About me
Hey there! My name is Mikayla and I am so glad that you have stumbled upon my page. I am from the most beautiful town in the whole world, Knoxville, Tennessee (I don't think I'm being biased). And I absolutely love people. I recently graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
I began my photography journey a little over a year ago when my fiancé encouraged me to try out film photography. Yikes. I quickly fell in love with art form but decided I should probably sharpen my skills with a digital camera. Fast forward and here I am, doing this whole photography thing, and LOVING where I am at.
What I love most about it all is getting to know my clients in a deeply personal way, making them feel beautiful, and helping them make important memories. Standing in front of the camera is a vulnerable position and I get that. So, I strive to make every shoot as comfortable as possible. I do not want to be someone you meet once and never speak to again. I want to be your new BFF. Let me make you feel beautiful and help you document those cherished memories.
